CEREC Single-Visit Crowns in Monroe, MI
Having a traditional dental crown placed is a process that usually requires two or more visits to your dentist to complete. Today, using CEREC technology, we can now place a beautiful new dental crown in just one visit.
At Kuras Dental Health Associates, we understand that you have a busy life. Using updated technology, we can streamline your dental treatments and get you on your way as quickly as possible.
Benefits of CEREC Restorations
Placing traditional crowns takes time and multiple appointments to complete. CEREC restorations are created right here at our Monroe dental office and can be finished in just one appointment.
CEREC crowns are good for your oral health, too, because they actually strengthen your tooth by preserving more of its natural structure. Since your new crown can be completed in only one visit, there’s also less drilling, fewer injections, and less time out of your busy schedule.
You don’t have to deal with a temporary crown either, which many people find uncomfortable and not particularly attractive. You can smile with confidence, knowing that your new crown is milled out of pure porcelain, a long-lasting, stain-resistant material that closely resembles the appearance of your own teeth.
How Do CEREC Crowns Work?
We create your new CEREC crown right here in our office using state-of-the-art technology. First, we shape your tooth to prepare it for the new crown. Next, an image of your tooth is taken, and we use specialized computer software to view a model of your finished crown.
Using this model, the CEREC crown is created out of a porcelain block, polished, refined to fit perfectly, and bonded securely to your tooth. The entire process generally takes only two to three hours.
Restorations That Fit Your Needs
Since everyone is unique, we offer choices that make it easy for you to choose a treatment that fits your specific needs. There are several different types of dental crowns, and they each have their own advantages:
- All-metal crowns are known for their strength and durability.
- Porcelain crowns provide an attractive, natural appearance.
- Porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns offer the middle ground between porcelain and all-metal.
The type we choose depends on your oral health needs as well as your timeline and budget. We will discuss all your options to find the solution that is perfect for you.
Convenient, Friendly Treatment
Our goal is to help you achieve excellent oral health without a lot of stress or inconvenience. Your needs come first, and you can expect to be treated by a team of down-to-earth folks who want every experience you have with us to be relaxed and enjoyable.
We understand that cost plays a big part in the decisions you make about the type of dental treatments you choose. As part of your consultation, we’ll help you determine how much your dental insurance covers as well as various financing options like Citi Health.
